3 New Xbox Series X and S Models Landing This Holiday

The new Xbox Series X and S models come in all-digital, larger SSD, and special editions for the holiday gifting season.

Microsoft announced three new consoles for the Series X and S line-up to boost your gifting options this holiday season.

Two new Xbox Series X consoles for the family include one all-digital option in "Robot White" with a 1TB SSD, and another disk-accepting Galaxy Black Special Edition with a 2TB SSD and new black and green colorway. The Special Edition also has a matching black and green wireless controller.

The new Xbox Series S is last year's all-digital 1TB SSD model, but this time in Robot White, for those who needed twice the storage of the original but have a particular aesthetic to match in their gamer setup. The 1TB Carbon Black Series S is "still available while supplies last," so if you wanted that one instead, maybe don't wait too long on it.

The all-digital Robot White Xbox Series S will be available for $349.99, its all-digital Robot White Xbox Series X brother will go for $449.99, and the Galaxy Black Special Edition Xbox Series X comes in at $599.99. All should be available for pre-order soon and will ship before Holiday 2024. We'll bring you pre-order links when they're available.

The shift to digital-only consoles may be desirable for players who value the convenience of the on-platform stores, and that extra storage is going to be a lifesaver for some, as games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 are weighing in at 300GB now. That 1TB SSD suddenly doesn't seem so big any more.
