Sony has made three new games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in August 2024. The PS Plus August games deliver excellent adventures, whether you’re a fan of horror or like diving into metroidvanias.

August PS Plus games

The free games for August, available to PS Plus Essential and above users, are:

  • Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach
  • Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights

All three titles are available to add to your PlayStation library, so long as you’re a subscriber of PS Plus Essential, Extra, or Premium. You have until September 2 to add them to your account, but they’re yours to play whenever you want beyond that – provided you keep your PlayStation Plus subscription going.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

After almost two decades of Lego Star Wars games, TT Games’ latest block-based adaptation delivers the entire nine-film series of Star Wars movies in Lego form. From Anakin’s rise to power as the Sith Lord Darth Vader, to the start of a new generation of Jedi, The Skywalker Saga brings the fun and whimsical nature of Lego Star Wars games to a new generation of consoles.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach

The Five Nights at Freddy’s series is now 10 years old, so it’s no surprise PlayStation is helping celebrate the major event. 2021’s Security Breach is a major part of the story, taking players on a terrifying adventure into Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex entertainment complex. This entry also delivers more scares than ever thanks to a full first-person experience.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knight

If you’re a fan of great metroidvania games and you haven’t played Ender Lilies, you’re in for a treat. This indie release puts you into the role of Lily as she journeys through a dark fantasy world. Thanks to a beautiful art design, challenging boss fights, and an exciting story, Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knight is one genre fans certainly won’t want to miss.
