As part of Barbie’s 65th anniversary celebration, family-friendly game publisher Outright Games revealed Barbie Project Friendship, an adventure game that will task kids (and kids at heart) with helping Malibu and Brooklyn repair the dilapidated Malibu Waves Community Center with help from their friends and family.
Barbie Project Friendship is set in the world of the Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures and Barbie: A Touch of Magic animated series, with the series’ original English voice cast lending their talents to this new adventure.
As players work to repair the Community Center, they’ll be able to complete various activities with Barbie’s friends, such as making ice cream with Ken, improving the arcade with Teresa, and working on scooters with Nikki. They’ll also unlock new outfits along the way.
While the game’s adventure mode will only support single-player gameplay, a series of mini-games (like a cooking game and a music rhythm game) will support two-player local co-op.
Barbie Project Friendship will hit Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC on October 25.
