Dragon Age: The Veilguard Gets Free Standalone Character Creator
Players can take their time creating their perfect version of Rook before transferring them into the paid game.

Dragon Age Day is December 4, and to celebrate, BioWare released a free, standalone version of the character creator tool from Dragon Age: The Veilguard across all platforms.
The standalone Character Creator tool doesn’t have a time limit, so players can take as much time as they’d like to create their perfect version of Rook, The Veilguard’s playable character. If they later buy Dragon Age: The Veilguard, they’ll be able to transfer the Rook they’ve created in the Character Creator into the main game, so long as they’re on the same platform.
As part of its Dragon Age Day festivities, BioWare also released Patch 4 for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which adds a photo tool for the game’s cutscenes, bug fixes, and new Qunari complexions to the game.
As one final bonus, once players download Patch 4 and complete the quest “The Singing Blade,” they’ll be able to travel to the Lighthouse and claim the armor, body paint, and nose bleed smear of Hawke, the protagonist in Dragon Age II. There’s no time limit for claiming these free items.
