Following a grand reveal during Summer Game Fest in June, Dragon Age: The Veilguard now has a release date, with the next installment in the franchise’s epic saga hitting PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC October 31, 2024.
In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, players will become Rook, a customizable hero who must recruit a band of companions to defeat the Elven gods that were released after Solas’ ritual was interrupted. These seven companions – Lucanis, Harding, Bellara, Neve, Davrin, Taash, and Emmrich – will each have different abilities and weapons at their disposal, and players will be able to strategically work with each one to create the perfect battle party for each occasion.
While Dragon Age: The Veilguard won’t be released until this fall, fans can pre-order the game now to receive a selection of in-game items at launch.
Players who pre-order the game’s Standard Edition (priced at $69.99 on console and $59.99 on PC) will receive cosmetic Blood Dragon Armor sets for the Warrior, Mage, and Rogue classes.
Fans who pre-order the Deluxe Edition (priced at $89.99 on console and $79.99 on PC) will receive the same Blood Dragon Armor sets, in addition to three armor sets and six weapons for Rook, seven companion armor sets, and seven companion weapons.
An EA Play Pro Edition of Dragon Age: The Veilguard will also launch for EA Play Pro members on October 31.
