Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Collector's Edition Includes an Extra Epic Mickey Statue

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed now has a release date of September 24, 2024. It'll arrive then for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. On top of that, the game will launch with a physical Collector’s Edition that includes a suitably epic Mickey Mouse statue.

Developed by Purple Lamp – the studio behind SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated – Epic Mickey: Rebrushed updates the 2010 Wii game with new visuals for both gameplay and cutscenes. Legendary Deus Ex developer Warren Spector was the creative director behind the original Epic Mickey, and he returns to introduce the remake's release date in the latest trailer.

The story to the action-adventure game follows Disney’s leading rodent as he attempts to rectify his accidental creation of a horde of shadow creatures which corrupt a hidden world. Mickey must wield a magic paintbrush to befriend enemies or erase them from existence as he goes about cleaning up the land and his mistake.

Those who pre-order Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will gain 24 hours early access ahead of the digital launch and also unlock a costume pack containing Steam Boat Willie, Football, and Brave Little Tailor outfits.

The Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Collector's Edition crams in a wealth of artistic additions for fans of the original or those extremely excited to dive in for the first time. The centerpiece is a 28cm statue of Mickey Mouse flourishing his paintbrush in a dramatic arc. Also included are a set of postcards and a vintage tin sign, all of which feature gorgeous art pieces based on Mickey and the environments he visits during the game.
