Barbie Project Friendship recently launched on consoles and PC. Set in the world of the Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures and Barbie: A Touch of Magic animated series, the game challenges players to help Malibu and Brooklyn repair the rundown Malibu Waves Community Center to prevent it from being demolished.

Barbie Project Friendship allows players to complete simple quests and activities by pressing the correct buttons as prompts appear on the screen. For instance, they may be able to pull weeds by repeatedly pressing the same button until a meter is filled. Timed mini-games are also available, like one that asks players to help fulfill orders at an ice cream shop by placing the correct ice cream scoops in cones.

As players repair the Community Center and complete quests, they’ll receive Community Points that can be spent on new outfits for Malibu and Brooklyn to wear, as well as on decorations and furniture pieces for the Community Center office. Players can switch between Malibu and Brooklyn as their playable character and dress each character individually. Some activities can only be completed by a specific character.
