Boggle: Arcade Edition is out now on Apple Arcade, Apple’s game subscription service that gives subscribers unlimited access to a curated selection of games for a flat monthly price.

Based on the classic Boggle tabletop game, Boggle: Arcade Edition challenges players to create words by connecting touching letters on a grid-based game board. Arcade Edition features multiple gameplay modes, including a single-player mode, a daily challenge mode, a skill builder that can help players improve their game, and a multiplayer mode for competing against other real people.

The single-player mode offers level-based gameplay, with each level having a different goal to complete. For instance, players may be asked to create a required number of three- or four-letter words. Levels may be timed or untimed, which affects the overall challenge level of each stage.

Power-ups are also available, which can be purchased with coins to boost the number of points certain letter tiles are worth, display a list of words that can be created, and more. Games on Apple Arcade don’t contain advertisements or in-game purchases, so the only way to earn more coins is to simply play the game.
