Fortnite Opens The Game Awards Vote To Determine the Creator-Made Island of the Year
The Game Awards Vote island features a cooperative, round-based Arena mode.

Ahead of The Game Awards December 12, 2024, Fortnite opened voting for Island of the Year, allowing players to choose their favorite creator-made island from a list of 10 nominees by joining an island inspired by the awards show (complete with a digital version of presenter Geoff Keighley).
Players can vote for their favorite island by joining “The Game Awards Vote in Fortnite” island experience (island code 0853-1358-8532). Voting will remain open until December 11 at 9 p.m. ET.
Here are the 10 nominees for Island of the Year:

The “Game Awards Vote in Fortnite” island also features an Arena where players can work together to defeat waves of floating targets. The mode will reward players with in-game currency based on their performance, which can be spent on weapons in the Upgrade Area.
