Repair kits are valuable items in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, as they can fix busted items like your revolver. Learning how to use a repair kit, however, isn’t so straightforward. How to use repair kits in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle
Repair kits can only be used on the specific item tied to your current disguise. This can be found on the left side of your inventory selection, activated on console by pressing left on the D-Pad. In Indy’s standard adventuring outfit, that means his revolver. When disguised as a worker in Giza, for example, it will be a small shovel. In addition, you can only repair these items once they have broken, not while they still have uses.
To use a repair kit on a broken item, open your inventory by pressing left on the D-Pad and select the item. You should then see a prompt to “Repair Revolver” (or other item).
Hold X on console or hold E on PC to use a repair kit and fix the item. You’ll see the number of repair kits in the inventory to the right decrease.
Because Indy throws away any other items after they have broken, you cannot use the repair kit on them. But they do allow you to use your revolver as a club more often, meaning you’ll always have a weapon at hand in dire times.
