Jude Bellingham Scores Cover Star Spot as EA Sports FC 25 Revealed With September Kickoff Date

Real Madrid and England star striker Jude Bellingham will be the cover athlete for this year's EA Sports FC 25 as the reveal trailer debuts today.
Launching on September 27 this year (with seven days early access if you spring for the Ultimate Edition), EA Sports FC 25 features licensed players and teams from almost all the major leagues worldwide – including Bellingham's stomping grounds of La Liga and the English Premier League.
Bellingham makes history as the youngest cover star of an EA Sports football game, and will also be featured as the new cover athlete for EA Sports FC Mobile. His cover photo, captured at El Clásico in April, was created using "the iconic image of Jude posing in his renowned Belligol celebration, after scoring the stoppage time winner in front of his home crowd at the Bernabéu," according to EA's press release on the news.

"This season, Bellingham has flourished after his move to Real Madrid, winning the UEFA Champions League, La Liga and Supercopa de España with his club, alongside multiple individual accolades, including La Liga Player of the Season, Laureus Breakthrough of the Year, as well as the Golden Boy and Kopa Trophies for the world's best player under 21," lists EA of his accomplishments.
"He has sustained that momentum at the international level with game-defining moments that helped England reach the final at the Euros this summer, truly confirming his star status and earning his place on the cover of EA Sports FC 25." Shame he couldn't quite earn the win against his adoptive home country Spain in that final last weekend.
“I played this game with my brother all the time growing up, and I’ve always thought about how incredible it would be to one day be featured on the cover,” said Jude Bellingham. “There have been so many iconic players on the cover over the years, and I am delighted to be the most recent English player to be bestowed with this honour since 2011. I’m also truly honoured to be featured on the cover of Ultimate Edition with true legends of the game both past and present in Beckham, Bonmatí, Buffon and Zidane.”
EA Sports FC 25 will launch on PC (via Steam, EA Play, and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. All editions feature Dual Entitlement on console, allowing you to download the next-gen version of the game for free if you upgrade mid-season.
The Ultimate Edition features seven days of early access and 4600 FC Points for use in Football Ultimate Team (FUT) and elsewhere. If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition before August 20, you'll also receive an FC 24 Greats of the Game untradeable Hero or ICON player for FUT, and an untradeable FC 25 Hero player, with an upgraded 'Prime' version arriving in November after the game launches.
