The Lego Fortnite universe is set to expand in a big way on December 12 with the launch of a new experience called Lego Fortnite Brick Life.
Designed as a social roleplay experience, Lego Fortnite Brick Life will allow players to create a virtual life for themselves in Brick Bay, where they can build and customize their own Lego dream home, take on a variety of jobs (like professor, sushi chef, and courier, to name a few), and, of course, interact with other real players.
Servers will support up to 32 players, who will be able to chat and interact using text chat, emotes, and Jam Tracks. Lego Fortnite Brick Life will also support Fortnite’s existing Lego Outfits, allowing players to change their look to suit their tastes.
As part of the launch of Lego Fortnite Brick Life, players can unlock two new Outfits for free.
Beginning December 10, players will receive the Mr. Dappermint Outfit and Explorer Emilie Outfit for connecting their Lego and Epic Games accounts. If players have already done so, the Mr Dappermint Outfit will automatically appear in their Locker (Explorer Emilie is only available for players linking for the first time).
The Chord Kahele Outfit, meanwhile, can be unlocked by earning XP in Fortnite while playing the game through the Fortnite mobile app. The Outfit includes both Lego and Fortnite styles. This promotion will be available until February 21, 2025.
The launch of Lego Fortnite Brick Life is part of a major overhaul of the Lego Fortnite universe, which will see the base game renamed to Lego Fortnite Odyssey, among other changes.
