Lego Fortnite players will soon be able to explore a large new world called the Lost Isles, full of different biomes to explore, tools and food to collect, and more.

Beginning September 17, 2024, players will be able to use any Battle Bus Station in their Lego Fortnite worlds to travel to the Lost Isles. There, they’ll be able to explore five different environments (the Beach, Plains, Jungle, Mountains, and Floating Islands), meeting some interesting new characters along the way (like the Peely Tribe).

The Lost Isles will feature plenty of new tools, toys, and food items for players to collect and experiment with. For instance, they’ll be able to collect Mahogany from trees around the Lost Isles to unlock recipes for the Pirate Musket, Flint-Knock Pistol, and Boom Shield.

For food, Bananas, Coconuts, Pineapples, Klomberries, and Tomatoes can be eaten on their own and used in recipes. Plus, players can feel Klomberries to Klombos (found in the Jungle) to unlock them as a mount.

With the release of the Lost Isles, the game’s Essence Table has been changed into the Rune Forge, allowing players to spend Essence to create Runes that can be used to strengthen their tools. For instance, the “Rune of Destruction” can be applied to a tool to give it the chance to instantly destroy buildings when they’re hit.

The Lost Isles are also the focus of the game’s new Tropical Treasures Lego Pass, which will ask players to complete quests in exchange for a variety of free rewards, including the NaNa Hut Build. While everyone will receive the free version of the Tropical Treasures pass, players also have the option to purchase the premium reward track to receive even more prizes as they complete quests.
