Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD Is Now Available on Switch

Grab your ghost busting gear – Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is now available on Nintendo Switch!

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is a remake of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, which was released on Nintendo 3DS way back in 2013. The game challenges players to help Luigi recover the shattered pieces of the Dark Moon, a celestial body that previously kept the region’s ghosts docile. Now that the moon has been shattered, the ghosts have become hostile, so Luigi will need to defeat and capture those ghosts as he searches for the missing pieces of the Dark Moon.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is a level-based experience that allows players to explore multiple haunted locales. Luigi is equipped with a handy flashlight and vacuum called the Poltergust 5000, which he can use in combination to stun and suck up ghostly enemies. The vacuum can also be used to solve puzzles and interact with the in-game environment by yanking clothing off of wall hooks, rolling up rugs, and sucking up coins and other currency from places that are otherwise out of reach (as a few examples).

In addition to a single-player story mode, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD also features the ScareScraper, a haunted building where up to four players can team up to play mini-games together locally or online.
