Minecraft’s Eerie Mojang Office Party Event Sends the Year Out With a Bang
Players can explore a recreation of Mojang's studios and complete Daily Challenges to receive free Character Creator items.

Minecraft is hosting a limited-time event this December called the Eerie Mojang Office Party. From December 9-20, Bedrock Edition players can join the event server to help Mojang solve the mystery of what exactly is going on in its virtual offices.

The Eerie Mojang Office Party event is accessible from the main screen of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, and an internet connection is required to access the event. The event allows players to explore a recreation of the Mojang Studios offices, where they can, in part, complete daily challenges to receive free Character Creator items that they’ll be able to keep after the event is over.
Here’s the breakdown of how players can earn these rewards:
- Complete one Daily Challenge - Receive a cap
- Complete three Daily Challenges - Receive a shirt
- Complete five daily challenges - Receive a cape

While the Eerie Mojang Office Party event is only accessible through Bedrock Edition, the cape will also be supported in Java so players can show it off there.
