Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Details
During the October Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase, Capcom detailed an Open Beta Test that will allow players across console and PC to try the action RPG ahead of its release on February 28, 2025.
The Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test will run from October 31, 2024 at 8 p.m. PT to November 3, 2024 at 6:59 p.m. PT on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC. PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive early access to the beta beginning October 28, 2024 at 8 p.m. PT.
The beta will feature three gameplay experiences: the game’s character creation tool, a Story Trial, and the Doshaguma monster hunt. Players will be able to carry the character they create in the beta into the final game at launch. Plus, beta players will receive a Pendant and item pack in the full version of Monster Hunter Wilds as rewards for their participation.
During the beta test, the Story Trial and Doshaguma hunt can be completed solo or by up to four players through online multiplayer, with cross-play supported across all platforms. Players can also call for help from “NPC Support Hunters.”
