NBA 2K25 Brings New Features and Returning Favorites to Consoles, PC
NBA 2K25 is now available on consoles and PC, allowing hoops fans to live out their basketball fantasies across new and returning gameplay modes with a variety of improvements throughout the experience.
This year’s basketball sim is powered by 2K’s ProPLAY platform, which includes 9,000 new animations translated from real-world NBA footage, a new dribble engine, and more.

In addition to technical enhancements, 2K25 features multiple new modes, including Breakout, Showdown, and King of the Court in MyTEAM and the tutorial mode Learn 2K, among others. MyNBA has been updated with “The Steph Era,” allowing fans to relive (or change) the journey of the 2017 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors, while MyCAREER features a new “flashback story” for MyPLAYER characters called Heart of a Dynasty.
On top of these new modes and storylines, features like The W and the City will give players even more places to spend their time.
NBA 2K25 will allow players to regularly unlock new content through seasons that each last six weeks. Each season will offer 40 free levels of rewards for players to earn. For Season 1, players will also have the option to purchase the Season 1 Pro Pass to unlock 40 additional levels of premium rewards they can unlock.
