Players can participate in mini-games, browse a museum, and collect themed UGC.

Ahead of the kickoff of the Paris 2024 Olympics on July 24, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) launched Olympic World on Roblox. The multiplayer experience allows visitors to participate in mini-games, walk down memory lane in a museum of Olympic highlights, collect themed user-generated content (UGC) for their avatar, and more.

The Olympic World Roblox experience drops players into an Olympic village where they can participate in activities inspired by Olympic sports. For instance, there’s an endless runner mini-game inspired by hurdles events, as well as a game inspired by discus.

As players participate in activities, they can complete quests and will earn coins they can spend on virtual items for use in the experience, like a “Water Trail” that will follow behind them as they play the endless runner mini-game.

UGC is also up for grabs. This includes premium items that can be purchased with Robux, as well as free items, like a Wrestling Singlet avatar outfit that can be earned by visiting the experience three days in a row.

Rounding out the Olympic World experience is the museum, where visitors can view images and watch video clips from past Olympic events.
