Four Spotlight Hour events will take place in Pokemon Go in November 2024. During each event, one or more featured Pokemon will appear more frequently than normal in the wild for 60 minutes, and a special in-game bonus will also be active.
Here’s a look at the Spotlight Hour events that will take place in November 2024:
November 5, 2024 - Surskit
- Time: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time
- Featured Bonus: 2x transfer Candy
- Can it be Shiny? Yes

November 12, 2024 - Smoliv
- Time: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time
- Featured Bonus: 2x evolution XP
- Can it be Shiny? Yes

We recommend activating a Lucky Egg during this event to double the number of experience points you receive for a limited time. The Lucky Egg bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, giving you the chance to earn tons of experience points if you evolve multiple Pokemon during this event.
November 19, 2024 - Teddiursa and Combee
- Time: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time
- Featured Bonus: 2x Catch Stardust
- Can they be Shiny? Yes

We recommend activating a Star Piece during this event to earn 50% more Stardust for a limited time. This Star Piece bonus will stack with the Spotlight Hour bonus, allowing you to earn even more Stardust during this event.
November 26, 2024 - Joltik
- Time: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time
- Featured Bonus: 2x catch XP
- Can it be Shiny? Yes
