Pokemon Go Wild Area Global Gives Players the Chance to Catch Shiny Toxtricity
A virtual worldwide event will take place after a real-world event in Fukuoka, Japan.
Posted a month ago
Pokemon Go will expand its real-world event lineup in 2024 with Pokemon Go Wild Area, a two-day event taking place in Fukuoka, Japan November 16-17. The event will allow attendees to access a variety of exclusive content focused primarily on Electric- and Poison-type Pokemon.
Following the real-world Wild Area event in Fukuoka, a Global version of the event will take place for players around the world from November 23-24.
The Wild Area Global event will feature two sets of content. One set will be available for all players for free, while the other will only be available to ticket holders.
Tickets are on sale now for $11.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency). Tickets can be purchased in the game and in the Pokemon Go Web Store, and those who purchase on the Web Store will receive an Egg Incubator and a Max Particle pack with their purchase.
Players who purchase a ticket by October 22, and then also play Pokemon Go at least once between October 15 and October 22, will receive Timed Research that will give them the chance to collect the Toxel Mask avatar item.
Here’s a breakdown of everything going on during the Wild Area Global event.
Event date and time
The Pokemon Go Wild Area Global event will run from 10 a.m. local time until 6:15 p.m. local time on both Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24, 2024.
