Pokemon Go Yamask and Galarian Yamask Research Day Coming Soon
A Yamask and Galarian Yamask Research Day event is coming soon to Pokemon Go. The event will give players the chance to encounter two rare pocket monsters and potentially even catch their Shiny forms.

Event date and time
The Yamask and Galarian Yamask Research Day event will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time.
Featured Pokemon
As the name suggests, the Yamask and Galarian Yamask Research Day event will allow players to complete Field Research tasks for the chance to encounter Yamask and Galarian Yamask. There will be an increased chance for both Pokemon to be Shiny.

Wild encounters
Cubone, Zigzagoon, Galarian Zigzagoon, Duskull, and Shieldon will appear more frequently in the wild during the Yamask and Galarian Yamask Research Day event.
All of these Pokemon will have the chance to be Shiny.
Premium Timed Research
Players will have the option to spend $2 on a ticket that will give them access to Timed Research tasks during the Yamask and Galarian Yamask Research Day event. As players complete these tasks, they’ll receive encounters with Yamask and Galarian Yamask.
Buyers will only have until 5 p.m. local time on October 19 to complete these Timed Research tasks before they disappear.
