Everything Xbox Showed Off in Its Tokyo Game Show Broadcast
The Tokyo Game Show runs from September 26-29, and Xbox kicked off its presence at the event with a stream highlighting a slew of games and content coming soon to Xbox consoles and/or PC.

Immortal Pillars expansion for Age of Mythology: Retold
The Immortal Pillars expansion for Age of Mythology: Retold will focus on China with a new campaign inspired by Chinese mythology, as well as 12 new gods (like Nuwa, Chiyou, and Nuba) and new god powers.

Pets come to Fallout 76
In December, players will be able to add pets to their C.A.M.P.s in Bethesda’s multiplayer role-playing game.
Indiana Jones gets Japanese localization
Out December 9, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle will follow Indy on a new adventure set between the events of the Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade films. At Tokyo Game Show, Xbox revealed the game will have full Japanese localization, including voice acting. You can read more about Indiana Jones and The Great Circle in our hands-off preview.

Overwatch 2 x My Hero Academia
From October 15-28, Overwatch 2 will host a My Hero Academia event featuring skins that turn some of Overwatch’s heroes into characters from the animated series. For instance, Tracer will become Deku, Reinhardt will become All Might, and Reaper will become Shigaraki.

StarCraft comes to PC Game Pass
Xbox announced StarCraft: Remastered and Star Craft II will come to the PC Game Pass subscription service November 5. You can learn more about PC Game Pass (and all of the available Game Pass plans) in our guide.
All You Need is Help hits Game Pass
From Q-Games, this adorable cooperative game for up to four players will challenge groups to solve puzzles by rotating their friends to create unique shapes. Players can’t rotate their own characters, so they’ll be forced to work together to solve puzzles.

Asurajang features a stamina-based combat system
Launching in 2025, Asurajang is an anime-inspired battle royale game from D-Zard that will allow players to compete for victory inside an ever-shrinking arena.
Atelier Yumia interview
The Tokyo Game Show broadcast featured a segment on Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, the latest game in the Atelier franchise and the first to be released on Xbox consoles. The game will hit Xbox consoles (as well as Switch, PlayStation consoles, and PC) on March 21, 2025.
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls launches next year
A new trailer for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls showed off a battle between Ichigo Kurosaki and Ulquiorra Shifar. While the game’s exact release date wasn’t revealed, we know it’s expected to launch in early 2025.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake features a new vocation
When Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake hits consoles and PC in November, players will be able to try a brand new vocation, Monster Wrangler, as well as recruit monsters to battle in the Monster Arena.

Square Enix brings eight more games to Xbox
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, featuring Final Fantasy I-VI, is now available on Xbox consoles. Fans can purchase each game individually or in a bundle. Plus, Legend of Mana and Trials of Mana are also out now on the platform. Both are available through Game Pass.
The FragPunk closed beta kicks off next month
Card-based shooter FragPunk will host a closed beta from October 10-21, 2024 on Xbox Series and Steam, with support for crossplay. Players who participated in the game’s closed alpha test in June will receive access to the closed beta automatically. Everyone else can sign up via the Xbox Insider Hub or the game’s Steam page. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater shows off a new trailer
A new video for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (the remake of 2004’s Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater) showed off the game’s Virtuous Mission. Unfortunately, the game’s release date is still under wraps.
Metaphor: ReFantazio gets a free demo ahead of launch
Players can now try Metaphor: ReFantazio in a free demo ahead of the game’s launch on October 11. The demo features the game’s entire prologue segment, and progress from the demo will carry over into the final game. You can learn more about this turn-based RPG in our preview from Summer Game Fest.

The Tokyo Game Show broadcast featured a look at Slitterhead, the first title from Bokeh Game Studio, which is led by Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama.

The Starbites takes players to a desert planet
From developer Inkinagames, The Starbites: Taste of Desert will take players to a desert planet called “Bitter,” where they can compete in turn-based battles featuring powerful mechs.
Suikoden 1&2 HD Remaster launches next spring
Suikoden 1&2 HD Remaster will feature an updated UI, improved visuals, and “redrawn backgrounds in high definition.” The game hits consoles and PC on March 6, 2025.
Synduality: Echo of Ada gets January release date
Extraction shooter Synduality: Echo of Ada will allow players to work alongside an A.I. partner and compete with or against other players in a quest for resources. The game will hit consoles and PC on January 24, 2025.
Tanuki: Pon’s Summer features an adorable tanuki who rides a bike
Tanuki: Pon’s Summer will star Pon, a tanuki challenged with delivering packages and completing missions for the locals. Xbox described the game as “[p]art construction sim, part BMX trick-a-thon, part minigame compilation.” Consider us intrigued.
Threads of Time will take players on a trip through different eras
This 2.5D JRPG will take players to different time periods, from the age of the dinosaurs to the distant future and beyond.
We Love Katamari Reroll + Royale Reverie rolls onto Game Pass
