The Necrozma Fusion Raid Day event is coming soon to Pokemon Go, which focuses on Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma.
Here’s what you need to know about this Raid Day event.
Event date and time
The Necrozma Fusion Raid Day event will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Raid details
During this Raid Day event, Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma will appear more frequently in Raids. After defeating Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings Necrozma in one of these Raids, players will have the chance to capture regular Necrozma, and Shiny Necrozma will be available.
Players can receive Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy by defeating Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma in Raids. This Fusion Energy is required to fuse Necrozma with either Solgaleo or Lunala to create its alternate forms.

Event bonuses
Three event bonuses will be active during this Raid Day event:
- There will be an increased chance to encounter Shiny Necrozma in Raids.
- Players can receive up to five extra Raid Passes by spinning the Photo Discs at Gyms.
- The Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 20 from Friday, December 13, 2024 at 5 p.m. PST until Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 8 p.m. PST.
Premium event ticket
During the Necrozma Fusion Raid Day event, players will have the option to spend $5 on a ticket that gives them access to additional in-game bonuses. These bonuses will be in effect from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
- Ticket holders can claim up to eight additional Raid Passes by spinning the Photo Disc at Gyms (this is on top of the five additional Raid Passes available to everyone).
- Ticket holders will have an increased chance of receiving Rare Candy XL when completing Raids
- Ticket holders will receive 50% more XP from Raids.
- Ticket holders will receive 2x Stardust from Raids.
Premium event box
For this Raid Day event, the Necrozma Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box will be available on the Pokemon Go Web Store for $4.99. It will include the premium event ticket and a single Premium Battle Pass.
